Boyne City sits at the southeast end of Lake Charlevoix, Michigan’s third largest inland lake. Most of Walloon Lake’s southern shoreline is also comprised of Boyne City addresses. Immediately adjacent to Boyne City is Boyne Falls, which is located along US131 and home to Boyne Mountain – one of the most popular golf and skiing resorts in the Midwest. The real estate market in the Boyne City area is very diverse, reflecting the wide range of area attractions. There is a small in-town portion of Boyne City real estate comprised of older homes, mostly Victorians and ranch style construction. A large portion of the Boyne City market enjoys a more rural setting, often with acreage or sweeping views of the countryside.
